Dick’s IPA
Here’s another local IPA. I’ve never actually had this one though. Looks like it’s all Columbus in this one.
Stats:
American India Pale Ale. 5.5% ABV. Washington.
Very hazy orange color. Lots of sediment in this one. Not much of a head, which is a bit concerning as an IPA.
Lots of citrusy hops on the nose. Hint of caramel.
Mouthfeel is excellent. Nice medium body with a medium carbonation. Not too light.
Citrusy hops. Grapefruit, orange, and limes for days. Nice little bit of grain and caramel on the finish. Medium bitterness, not too harsh.
It’s really a proto-typical Washington IPA. Considering that I like Washington IPAs, I’m liking this. There are others I’d drink over this, but nothing to shy away from here. 88 points.
