Saison. 5.3% ABV. 20 IBUs. Montana. Available March-May

Cloudy yellow beer with a fluffy head when poured.

The nose is more malty than yeasty. It’s a bit closed, but I’m getting a cracker-y thing and a black pepper component.

Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing, but still has a nice body. Well done.

Floral and juicy up front with an almost tropical fruit flavor, which transitions to the mid. The backend has a bit of an aggressive hop bitterness for the style, and a wonderful grainy, crackery finish.

This is unmistakably American, but it’s also damn good. Well made beer that let’s the malt do the talking as much as the yeast. Grab a sixer of this. 90 points.
