Two Beers Pumpkin Spice Ale

Expect many pumpkin beer reviews in the coming days. I’m even planning a blind pumpkin beer tasting for Halloween. This is a new one for me. All the usual suspects are included in this pumpkin beer, so let’s just get to the review.

Pumpkin Beer. 5.2% ABV. 19 IBUs. Washington. Fall Seasonal.

Light burnt orange color with a head that doesn’t last long at all.

Spices dominate the nose but not getting much pumpkin or anything else for that matter.

Highly carbonated and light mouthfeel. Meh.

Spices and more spices. Really not getting much pumpkin on the palate either. Nice spice flavor without being too out there, but does have some astringency.

It’s an alright pumpkin beer. Worth buying if you love them, but otherwise there are better examples out there. 86 points.
