Big Time Bhagwan’s Best IPA

Thanks to some friends for picking this up for me. This is from Seattle’s “original brewpub”. The IPA features Cascade, Columbus, and Centennial hops and I believe this is the first beer that I’ve had from them.

American India Pale Ale. 6.0% ABV. Washington.

Dark yellow to orange in color with a fairly small head.

Very citrusy nose with an almost tart component. Only a touch of pine on this one.

Excellent mouthfeel with a medium body and a medium carbonation.

Lots of citrus, but more pine comes through on the palate with an aggressive finish you wouldn’t expect. Nice honey and malt notes on the finish.

Lovely beer that merges citrus and pine into a nice NW IPA. 90 points.
