Two Beers Evolution IPA

Two Beers is another Washington brewery that’s moved to cans for a lot of their beer. This is their year-round IPA which features Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial hops and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Columbus. Not sure what the malt profile is.

American India Pale Ale. 6.2% ABV. 70 IBUs. Washington.

Nice orange color with a ridiculous head. One of the best heads I’ve seen on a beer. The lacing is not too shabby either.

It’s actually a fairly sweet nose with a honey thing going on with a slight nutty-ness. The hops bring a little bit of pine, but this is not a hop bomb.

Mouthfeel is lovely. It’s medium bodied with a medium carbonation.

More pine comes through on the palate with a slight peanut thing going on. It does have a dose of sweetness there that seems to lighten up the hops a bit and giving it a nice honey flavor. It doesn’t lighten up the bitterness. The finish let’s you know where this beer came from.

Very solid IPA. It’s approachable while still carrying the weight of a WA beer. 89 points.
