Silver City Deluxe Spring Lager

Man, it’s been warm here lately. Luckily, I’ve got this nice cold lager to help. It’s a pre-prohibition style lager that features Pale, Caramel Pilsner, and some flaked corn to keep it light and Sterling hops. Let’s see how it is.

American Pale Lager. 6.2% ABV. Washington. Seasonal.

Golden color. Very frothy head that fades quickly.

Nice grainy, malty nose with a little bit of lemon and apricot. Not much else going on, but not bad either.

Mouthfeel is quite nice. It’s low-medium body that allows it to be highly drinkable without being watered-down.

Lemon on the initial and gets just a hair light on the mid, with a great grainy finish with lemons showing here as well. Shocking length.

If you want a craft lager for this Summer, then you should pick some of these up. This is a delicious beer. 90 points
