Buck Range Light

My coworker brought me this little gem. It’s been awhile since I’ve reviewed a non-craft beer. This is apparently brewed by Genesee in New York. I have no idea what’s in this beer, but I can tell you that it’s 96 calories, 6g of carbs, and 0g of fat. “Live the life – Pass the Buck”.

American Light Lager. 3.6% ABV. New York.

My urine has more color than this.

Despite the can, it still smells skunky. Luckily, it seems to have faded a bit. Or maybe I just got used to it (that would explain so much). It smells like you would expect. Sweet corn with a hint of apple and grain.

Mouthfeel is actually pretty decent. It’s very crisp and just enough body to make it decently drinkable.

When it initially hits the palate, it’s really not too bad. It’s a typical American adjunct with some apple and corn but then it just gets horribly watered down. No mid-palate, might as well be water. And ends on a sweet, hollow finish.

Yeah, it’s on par with Corona Light. 60 points sound good.
