Flyers Afterburner IPA

American India Pale Ale. 6.0% ABV. Washington.

Light burnt orange color, not much head, but it does leave some nice lacing.

Not too much on the nose. I’m getting some grapenuts and a hint of a vegetal component with a little orange rind.

Mouthfeel is pretty good. Nice medium body, with good level of carbonation.

Heavy hops. This is very bitter. Most people will hate this. It does still have a grainy note, but it’s so overpowered by hops, and the flavor is a kind of green. It feels dull instead of bright. Vegetal with a bit of lemon rind.

Really off-balanced and just needs a lot of work. Just a bit of a mess. 80 points. Here’s my second Flyers review. I’ve had this beer once before, and I really didn’t care for it. I wanted to grab another to review, so here we go.
