Big Sky Summer Honey

This is Big Sky’s Summer seasonal. It’s brewed with a blend of spices (doesn’t say what these spices are), Northwest hops (surprising…), and Montana honey.

Blonde Ale. 4.7% ABV. Montana. Summer Seasonal.

Golden color, head doesn’t last.

Nose isn’t too bad. It’s basically some grainy malts with honey and some light fruits. Definitely get the honey, but it doesn’t smell very sweet, so that’s good.

Mouthfeel is light and highly carbonated, which is to be expected for a Summer brew.

Grainy, honey, and a whole basket of light fruits. The grain stays throughout the palate and finishes heavily with that flavor. No hops to speak of, but it’s also not sweet.

It’s everything you’d think this beer would be. It doesn’t taste bad, but it’s also pretty boring. It’s very non-offensive, therefore many of you might enjoy this one. Nothing special, but the flavor doesn’t fall flat. 83 points.
