Pyramid Apricot Ale

Many of you have probably had this beer. I’m sure many a female has liked this beer. It’s fruity, it’s sweet, it’s not really like “beer” at all, but I promise you that it is. This beer features 2-row pale and malted wheat with Nugget or Summit hops. Doesn’t say where the apricot flavor comes from.

American Wheat Ale. 5.1% ABV. 11 IBUs. Washington.

Hefeweizen color. Head really doesn’t last

yep, smells like apricots. Pretty much the only thing you get on the nose, but it doesn’t smell bad.

Good medium bodied mouthfeel, nice carbonation level.

Again, apricots and some yeast flavor comes through. It’s not too over-the-top. Not much length.

It’s pretty much what you’d expect, hence the short review. I kinda like it, but I love apricots. What I do like is that it’s not too sweet and doesn’t taste fake. It’s an easy drinker and can be good for people who havn’t had too much beer. 83 points.
