Fremont Interurban IPA

Now it’s time for Fremont’s IPA. So far, I’ve really liked their Summer Solstice, and the Pale was pretty decent too, so I hope this IPA will also follow suit. This beer features 2-row, Crystal, Munich, and aromatic malts with Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo hops.

American India Pale Ale. 6.2% ABV. Washington.

Orange color and lots of sediment in the glass. Decent head.

Again, very Lagunitas on the nose. Lots of citrus and pine and a slight grainy aroma.

Mouthfeel is just a hair too light for me, but I’m not complaining.

Big citrus and pine up front and then the bitterness takes hold with a grainy finish.

This is very similar to the pale, but with all the flavor that it lacked. Reminds me so much of the Lagunitas IPA. This is tasty, balanced, drinkable, and cheap. Buy this beer. 90 points.
