Great Divide Fresh Hop Pale Ale

This fresh hop beer is available October through December according to the website. Therefore, I got it a few months old. Not sure about the hops in here but they are shipped fresh from the Pacific Northwest (ie Washington). Gotta love the fresh hops

American Pale Ale. 6.1% ABV. Colorado.

Burnt orange color with a nice white head.

The nose is a little hoppy, but not over-powering. There is some pine and grass followed by orange and lemon. The bottle description is accurate.

Great mouthfeel. It’s thick but drinkable.

The palate is similar to the nose. I would add some banana flavor and apricots. Just a slight hint of butter, but not bothersome.

Definitely worth a purchase if you can find it. 88 points.
