Bridgeport IPA

I’m not sure how many bottle conditioned IPAs there are out there, but here is one of them. They apparently use 5 hops in this beer, but I couldn’t find out what they were. If you know @fnbarrett, you know he loves this beer. So let’s see if he’s full of shit or not 😉

India Pale Ale. 5.5% ABV. Oregon.

Amber in color with a decent head and lacing.

The nose has hops, but not over the top. Very floral hops on this one, with citrus and a bit of tobacco coming through. It has a slight funky-ness to it.

Good mouthfeel, medium bodied and good levels of carbonation.

Lots of citrus up front, then gets a little more piney with a really nice honey and floral component trailing. Well balanced, and good bitterness level. Apples and apricots with some floral notes left on the palate.

Probably the best Bridgeport beer I’ve had. Should be easy to find in the PNW, so give it a try. 88 points.

Hell yes this beer is awesome! I can’t wait to visit the brewpub in a few weeks and mule some home for myself 🙂

I’m sure it’ll be even better from the source!
