Short’s Bellaire Brown

Another Short’s brew from Michigan. Other than pale ale malt, their website says that it has “several specialty selections” of malts, whatever that means.

Brown Ale. 5.2% ABV. Michigan.

Well, its brown, with very little head.

Very malty nose, with a heavy dose of caramel and chocolate, with a pretty sweet nose.

Light mouthfeel, actually really refreshing.

Again, very malty, with caramel and chocolate coming through quite a lot on the palate. Man, does this go down easy. Very sweet, too sweet for me, and no bitterness on the back.

This is pretty good, and something you can down a whole lot of. The only issue I have with it is that there is too much sweetness for me, but I think a lot of people would like this one. 88 points.
