Short’s Pandemonium Pale Ale

I don’t know much about the beer or the brewery, but their website claims it goes through a 4-kettle hop addition process and is finished with whole leaf hops.

Pale Ale. 5.4% ABV. Michigan.

Copper colored, with not much head, but good lacing.

Very hoppy nose with some citrus fruit accents, with tangerine coming through quite a bit. Oddly sour nose after being beaten up a little. And some malts coming through.

Fairly light mouthfeel, good carbonation.

Even more of a hoppy presence on the palate, almost to IPA, but not quite as hoppy or bitter. Tangerines and lemons on the back are nice, with some malt, giving a bit of a buscuity flavor.

Reminds me quite a bit of Sierra Nevada pale ale, with perhaps a little bit of a brown ale. Pretty darn good. 87 Points.
