Brau Brothers Ring Neck Braun Ale

Thanks Frank! Here’s an English style brown ale from Minnesota. I can’t tell you what is in this one other than toasted oats.

Stats:
English Brown Ale. 6.8% ABV. Minnesota.

Nice caramel brown color. The head is ridiculous. This was a hard beer to pour.

The nose is actually really nice. It’s got this really lovely toasted nut aroma and a caramel sweetness.

Mouthfeel is okay. It’s a bit light, and it’s got a bite.

It started off metallic, but I’m not getting that anymore. It’s mostly got a toasted flavor with a nice hint of caramel and vanilla.

I love that toasted flavor you often get in brown ales, and this is no exception. 88 points.
